We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our team. This role is essential in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for children in our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in early childhood education, and the ability to effectively communicate with both children and parents. As a Nursery Room Leader, you will manage daily activities, ensuring that each child receives the highest standard of care and education.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the nursery team, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment. Plan and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's development across various domains. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care by maintaining a clean and secure environment. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behaviour, and any concerns that may arise. Manage daily routines, including meal times, nap times, and play activities, ensuring smooth transitions throughout the day. Observe and assess children's development, documenting progress and identifying areas for improvement. Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive atmosphere that respects individual needs and backgrounds.

Qualifications

Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A passion for working with children and fostering their growth in a nursery setting. Knowledge of child development principles and practices related to early years education. Ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a positive attitude. A relevant qualification in early childhood education or childcare is desirable but not mandatory.

Pay: 26,000.00-29,000.00 per year
