The Role - Room Leader

We're looking for a motivated

Room Leader (Unit Leader)

to join our leadership team at Meridian. Working closely with the Manager and Deputy, you'll take responsibility for your unit while stepping up to support overall nursery management when needed.

You'll:

Lead and inspire your room team, supporting their training and development Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with EYFS standards Be a key point of contact for parents, supporting children's settling-in and progress Monitor your unit's performance, reporting on children's development and staff needs Step into management duties such as show-arounds, staffing and daily operations Ensure a safe, stimulating environment with high-quality resources
What We're Looking For

Level 3 Early Years qualification (minimum) Experience as a Practitioner or Room Leader with leadership responsibilities Strong knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and Ofsted requirements Confident organisational, communication and mentoring skills Paediatric First Aid and safeguarding training (or willingness to refresh)
