We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Nursery Room Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children. The Nursery Room Leader will play a crucial role in fostering a nurturing and stimulating atmosphere for children aged 0-5 years.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the nursery team, providing guidance and support to ensure effective delivery of childcare services. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's learning and development. Create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for all children, staff, and families. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and wellbeing. Maintain accurate records of children's development, attendance, and any incidents that occur within the nursery. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures related to early childhood education and care. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social skills, independence, and self-esteem. Drive initiatives that enhance the overall quality of care provided within the nursery.

Skills

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail. A genuine passion for nurturing children's development and wellbeing. Flexibility to adapt to changing situations within the nursery environment.
