Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader to oversee the daily operations of our nursery. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children. This role requires a passion for early childhood education and the ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents.

Duties

Lead and manage the nursery team, providing guidance and support to staff members. Develop and implement engaging educational programmes tailored to the developmental needs of children. Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. Maintain a safe and clean environment in accordance with health and safety regulations. Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Organise activities that promote physical, emotional, and intellectual development. Ensure compliance with all relevant childcare regulations and policies. Assist in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of nursery staff.

Experience

Proven experience in a leadership role within a childcare or nursery setting is not necessarily essential. A background in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable. Demonstrated experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A commitment to ongoing professional development in childcare practices is encouraged.
