Room Leader - Nursery

Location: SW14 8EB
Contract: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Salary: Starting from 30,000 per year

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated

Room Leader

to join our nursery team. As a Room Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of your room, ensuring high-quality care, and supporting children's learning and development.

Key Responsibilities

Lead your designated room, ensuring outstanding care and education. Plan, implement, and review engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework. Support and mentor nursery staff, fostering a positive and collaborative environment. Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues. Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times.

Requirements

Level 3 or higher childcare qualification

(essential). Minimum

2 years' experience

in a nursery or childcare setting (preferred). Proven leadership or room management experience (preferred). Strong knowledge of EYFS and child development. Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
