Synergy Education are looking for a Level 3 Room Leader for one of our stunning and well respected nurseries based in Newport, South Wales on a full time and permanent basis.

Are you a dedicated and passionate Nursery Room Leader looking for a full time role?

This role is essential in providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. The Nursery Room Leader will be responsible for managing the nursery team, ensuring the highest standards of childcare, and fostering the development of children aged 0-5 years. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a background in early childhood education, and a genuine love for working with children.

Responsibilities

Manage daily operations of the nursery room, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all children.

Lead and support a team of nursery staff, providing guidance and training as needed.

Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development.

Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's progress and any concerns that may arise.

Maintain accurate records of children's development and activities in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's reputation and foster community engagement.

Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, safeguarding policies, and quality standards within the nursery setting.

Qualifications

Proven experience in childcare or early childhood education is essential.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively.

Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

A genuine passion for working with children and understanding their developmental needs.

Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or childcare are desirable but not mandatory.

Ability to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere that encourages children's curiosity and learning.
