Key responsibilities:



Team Leadership

: Build and lead a strong, motivated team within your room; act as a role model and foster a positive, collaborative atmosphere

Planning

: Work with your team to plan rich learning experiences and ensure consistent development opportunities for all children

Teaching

: Lead by example in delivering play-based, child-led activities that support all areas of learning

Assessment

: Ensure high-quality observations and assessments are carried out, shared, and used to set meaningful goals

Key Person Role

: Build strong, supportive relationships with a small group of children and their families

Curriculum Delivery

: Implement and evolve a high-quality, current early years curriculum

Partnerships

: Foster strong communication and partnerships with colleagues and parents

Requirements:



Full and relevant Level 3 qualification in Early Years Previous experience as a Room Leader or in a similar leadership role Strong understanding of EYFS and child development Knowledge of or interest in alternative educational approaches (Reggio Emilia, Waldorf, Curiosity Approach) is an advantage but not essential

Pay: 30,000.00-35,000.00 per year
