Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader to oversee the daily operations of our nursery room. The ideal candidate will have a passion for early childhood education and experience working with children. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage a team of childcare professionals while ensuring a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the children in our care.

Duties

Lead and manage the nursery team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality childcare. Develop and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's physical, emotional, and social development. Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff through effective communication. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for all children. Observe and assess children's progress, documenting their development and sharing insights with parents. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive nursery experience that meets the needs of all children. Handle administrative tasks related to the nursery room, including scheduling and record-keeping.

Qualifications

A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is preferred. Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or childcare setting. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. A genuine passion for nurturing children's development in a nursery environment. Ability to drive initiatives that enhance the overall quality of care provided. Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
