About the Role:
As
Room Leader for our 2-Year-Old Room
, you'll lead a team of passionate practitioners in creating a warm, fun, and secure space where toddlers can explore, grow, and develop their independence. You'll take the lead in planning exciting, age-appropriate activities, supporting your team, and working closely with families to ensure each child feels happy, supported, and ready for their next steps.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Lead the day-to-day running of our 2-Year-Old Room with confidence, care, and a child-centred approach
Plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate activities based on the EYFS
Support children's social, emotional, and language development through play and positive relationships
Observe, track, and reflect on each child's progress, ensuring individual needs are met
Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and carers through open communication and partnership
Mentor and support your team, creating a positive and collaborative working environment
Maintain a safe, organised, and inspiring space where toddlers can thrive
What We're Looking For:
A full and relevant Level 3 (or higher) qualification in Early Years Education
Experience working in a nursery or early years setting, particularly with 2-year-olds
Confident leadership or mentoring experience, with a hands-on and supportive approach
A sound understanding of the EYFS and child development
Excellent communication, organisation, and teamwork skills
A warm, patient, and positive personality with a genuine passion for early years
