Cherubz Daycare is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced

Room Lead

About the Role:

As Room Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day running of your designated room, leading a small team of practitioners, and ensuring high standards of care, planning, and safeguarding are maintained at all times.

Key Responsibilities:

Leading and motivating a team of Early Years Practitioners Planning and delivering engaging activities in line with the EYFS framework Supporting children's development through high-quality interactions and care Maintaining accurate records and observations using our in-house system Ensuring the room is safe, welcoming, and stimulating Supporting the emotional well-being and learning of all children in your care Communicating effectively with parents and carers Working closely with management to ensure the smooth running of the setting Acting as a key worker to a small group of children

Requirements:

A full and relevant Level 3 qualification (minimum) in Early Years Previous experience in a nursery setting (ideally in a senior or lead role) Excellent knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding, and child development A genuine passion for working with children and leading others Strong communication and organisational skills A current paediatric first aid certificate is desirable (training can be provided) A clear enhanced DBS check and two satisfactory references

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 13.00-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
