Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with young children, including infants and toddlers. This role involves creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children while ensuring their safety and well-being. The Nursery Room Leader will be responsible for implementing developmentally appropriate activities that promote childhood development, social skills, and emotional growth.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise daily activities in the nursery room, ensuring a safe and engaging environment for all children. Develop and implement age-appropriate activities that support the physical, emotional, and cognitive development of children. Foster positive relationships with children by providing nurturing care and guidance. Maintain classroom management to ensure a respectful and inclusive atmosphere for all students. Collaborate with parents and caregivers to discuss children's progress and address any concerns. Provide first aid as needed and maintain health and safety standards within the nursery room. Support children with special needs or disabilities through tailored activities and behaviour management strategies. Keep accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and incidents as required.

Experience

A background in early childhood education or related field is preferred. Experience working with infants, toddlers, or preschool-aged children in day care or classroom settings is essential. Familiarity with childhood development principles, caregiving techniques, and behaviour management strategies is highly valued. First aid certification is a plus; training may be provided if necessary. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff members are required.
