The Mall Nursery offers a vibrant, exciting and inspiring environment for girls and boys aged from 6 months to 4 years and is open 51 weeks of the year. Our approach is all about learning through play and using natural, authentic resources. Our core opening hours are 7:30am - 6:30pm.

Due to continued growth and demand from families, our amazing team are looking forward to welcoming a Room Leader to our 78 place nursery, conveniently located just a short walk from The Mall School on Hampton Road.

Every child deserves the best possible start in life and the support that enables them to fulfil their potential. The role of Nursery Room Leaders is to support colleagues to deliver a high quality early years education and create a positive environment for staff, children and families.

Our Room Leaders will be responsible to the Nursery Manager for the quality of teaching and learning to meet children's individual needs and provide for their personal development.

The nursery is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment. All applicants invited to interview will be required to provide evidence of their right to work in the UK and complete a suitability declaration. Successful applicants will be required to undergo child protection screening including an enhanced DBS check, satisfactory references from previous employers and, where appropriate, provide a certificate of good conduct before starting work with the nursery. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the nursery is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are "spent" unless they are "protected" under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.

Pay: From 29,000.00 per year
