Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Room Leader to oversee the daily operations a brand new pre school nursery room. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for early childhood education and a strong ability to manage and lead a team while providing a nurturing environment for children. This role requires effective communication skills in English, as well as the ability to engage with children and their families, ensuring a positive experience for all.

Duties

Lead and manage the nursery team, ensuring high standards of care and education are maintained. Develop and implement engaging educational activities that promote children's development in line with early years frameworks. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5 years. Supervise daily routines, including meal times, play sessions, and nap times. Maintain accurate records of children's development and attendance. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive team atmosphere. Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's reputation within the community.

Experience

Proven experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is essential. A qualification in Early Childhood Education or equivalent is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a team effectively. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Experience in developing age-appropriate activities that cater to diverse learning needs. A genuine passion for nurturing children's growth and development within a nursery setting.
