Nursery Room Leader - 42.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday, All year round




Salary - 31,000 per annum




We are currently seeking a Qualified Room Leader to join our expanding team at our CherryLands Day Nursery. The Nursery is in the picturesque grounds of Weybridge, just near Brooklands Business Park. With excellent public transport links and a spacious car park, our nursery offers a convenient and accessible location for commuters.

As Room Leader, you will:


Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments and resources to children, that are appropriate to their age and stage of development. Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social and emotional development. Assist staff in updating the EyLog system and their child learning journals with the highest quality. Promote respect and credibility for this position by leading as a role model with impartiality and consistency. Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments and identify training or development needs for staff. Maintain accurate records and accounts relating to children and staff on EyMan system and on file. Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent and visitor always. Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met.
