About Battenhall Nursery

Battenhall Nursery is a small, independent, friendly nursery. As the building was previously a family home we are able to provide a warm, nurturing environment with a 'home from home' feel.

The nursery is open from 7:30 - 18:00 Monday to Friday, 51 weeks of the year excluding Bank Holidays.

We are recruiting a full time Room Leader for our Wizard of Oz Room supporting our children aged 15 months to 2 years of age.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, fun, proactive and able to use their initiative.

Job Requirements

Have an enhanced DBS certificate and be signed up to the update service Hold at least a Level 3 Early Years qualification that is deemed to be full and relevant by the Department of Education Sound knowledge of the EYFS Have at least one year of proven experience working with children ideally in a Room Leader position Ideally hold a Paediatric First Aid qualification.

Responsibilities

Assisting the nursery team in providing high quality childcare Providing inspiration to nursery children through exciting activities in all areas of learning whilst incorporating the EYFS Maintaining a safe, secure and caring environment.
