Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Room Leader to oversee the daily operations of a Montessori nursery room. This role is essential in providing a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for young children. The Nursery Room Leader will be responsible for managing a team of childcare professionals, ensuring high standards of care and education are maintained, and fostering positive relationships with children and their families.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the nursery team to ensure effective delivery of early childhood education and care. Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that cater to the developmental needs of children. Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and any concerns. Supervise daily activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Maintain a clean, organised, and welcoming nursery environment. Drive initiatives that promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive development. Conduct regular assessments of children's progress and adapt programmes as necessary. Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive approach to childcare.

Skills

Proven experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Ability to manage a team effectively while fostering a positive work environment. Leadership qualities that inspire confidence in both staff and children. A genuine passion for childcare and the development of young minds. Capability to drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's educational offerings.

Pay: 27,000.00-30,000.00 per year
