As a Room Leader, you'll be the driving force in creating a positive, nurturing, and inspiring space for children to grow and learn. You'll lead your team by example, ensuring high-quality practice in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) while supporting your staff and making sure every child in your room thrives.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the daily running of your allocated room.
Plan, deliver, and evaluate exciting, age-appropriate activities that spark curiosity and creativity.
Supervise and support your team of practitioners, offering guidance, training, and motivation.
Ensure children's progress and development are observed, recorded, and shared with parents/carers.
Uphold and promote safeguarding, health, safety, and welfare standards.
Build strong, positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Support the wider nursery team and cover in other rooms when needed.
Contribute to inspections and audits, ensuring compliance with Ofsted and EYFS.
About You
Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Childcare / Early Years.
Previous experience in a nursery setting, with some leadership or senior responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of EYFS and safeguarding requirements.
Confident, approachable, and able to inspire your team.
Passionate about delivering outstanding early years education.

South Croydon CR2: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
