Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Manager to oversee the daily operations of a Montessori Nursery based in NW10. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a commitment to providing high-quality childcare in a nurturing environment. This role involves managing staff, engaging with parents, and ensuring that all children receive the best possible care and early education.

Responsibilities

Manage the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards. Lead and support a team of childcare professionals, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that promote children's development in line with early childhood education principles. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their children's progress and any concerns that may arise. Oversee the health, safety, and welfare of all children in the nursery, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment. Maintain accurate records related to children's development, attendance, and staff performance. Drive initiatives for continuous improvement within the nursery to enhance the quality of care provided.

Skills

Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Proven experience in managing a nursery or similar childcare setting. Leadership qualities with the ability to inspire and motivate staff. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Experience working with children in a childcare or educational capacity. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining attention to detail. A genuine passion for fostering children's growth and development in a nurturing environment.
