Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Room Manager to oversee daily operations within a vibrant two to three year old room. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, along with a genuine passion for working with children. This role offers an opportunity to lead a team, ensure the delivery of high-quality childcare, and foster a nurturing environment for young learners. Applicants should be organised, communicative, and possess relevant experience in nursery or early childhood education.

Duties

Manage the day-to-day running of the room, ensuring compliance with all regulatory standards and policies Lead, motivate, and supervise nursery staff to deliver excellent childcare and educational programmes Develop and implement engaging activities that support children's developmental needs Maintain effective communication with parents and guardians regarding their child's progress and well being Ensure health and safety procedures are strictly followed throughout the room Manage resources efficiently to optimise operational effectiveness Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of childcare services provided

Requirements

Proven management and leadership experience within a nursery or early childhood education environment Strong understanding of childcare practices, early childhood development, and regulatory requirements Experience working directly with children and familiarity with childcare activities Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written Ability to lead a team effectively whilst maintaining a nurturing environment for children Organised with the ability to multitask and prioritise responsibilities effectively Passionate about early childhood education with a caring attitude towards children's wellbeing
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
