Nursery School Run Driver and Lunch Cover

Location:

Ty Plant Community Nursery and surrounding areas

Hours:

Between 11am and 4pm Monday to Friday

We are seeking a

reliable and caring Nursery School Run Driver & Lunch Cover Assistant

to support our early years setting. This role combines safely transporting children to and from nursery with providing

lunch cover support

within the nursery setting.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys working with children, is dependable, and understands the importance of safety and routine.

Key Responsibilities:

Safely transport children during nursery school runs Ensure children are appropriately supervised during journeys Carry out basic vehicle safety checks before trips Provide

lunch cover support

, including: Supervising children during mealtimes Supporting children with eating where appropriate Promoting positive behaviour and good table manners Maintain a calm, friendly, and nurturing environment Follow all safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies
Essential Requirements:

Full, valid

UK driving licence

Minimum of 2 years' driving experience

Enhanced DBS check

(or willingness to obtain one upon employment)

First Aid training

(or willingness to complete upon employment) Reliable, punctual, and professional approach
Desirable:

Previous experience working with

children

(nursery, school, or childcare setting) Understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices
