We are looking for a

dedicated SEN 1:1 Support Assistant

to join our friendly nursery team. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in a child's early learning journey. The hours we are Monday and Tuesday 8am-5pm

About the Role:

Provide 1:1 support for a child with special educational needs, tailored to their individual plan. Work closely with the nursery SENCo, external professionals, and the child's family. Help the child access all areas of the Early Years curriculum in a nurturing, inclusive environment. Contribute to observations, progress tracking, and personalised learning activities. Support social and emotional development, promoting positive behaviour and independence.

We're Looking For:

Experience working with children with additional needs (SEN), ideally in an Early Years or school setting. A calm, nurturing, and proactive approach. Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team. Knowledge of EHCPs, early intervention strategies, or relevant SEN training is desirable. A relevant childcare qualification (Level 2 or 3) is preferred but not essential.

Pay: 12.50-13.00 per hour
