The Role
We are currently seeking either one Full-Time or two Part-Time
Nursery Room Leaders
to lead our educational rooms for specific age groups. Hours are flexible between 16-40 per week. Full-time team members can choose between a 4-day (36 hours) or 5-day (40 hours) week.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and support the smooth day-to-day running of a nursery room.
Act as a key person for allocated children, supporting their learning and development.
Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities aligned with the Foundation Phase.
Foster strong relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Model excellent practice in both indoor and outdoor environments.
Monitor and record children's development and contribute to learning journeys and assessments.
Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment.
Adhere to all safeguarding, health, and safety protocols.
What We're Looking For
Minimum
Level 3 CCLD
or equivalent (required).
At least
2 years of experience
working with children under 5.
Experience in leading or supporting a team (training available).
Sound knowledge of CIW regulations and the Foundation Phase curriculum.
Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with families and agencies.
Phonics, early maths, or literacy training is a bonus.
Welsh language skills are desirable but not essential.
