Nursery Third in Charge

13.60ph 35-40 hours over 4-4.5 days

N.B Safeguarding is of the highest priority in our setting. We will therefore carry out background checks, DBS check, references and other checks in line with our safeguarding process and will expect cooperation in this from all applicants

Our day nursery is a bilingual English and Spanish setting giving our children a unique opportunity to learn both languages and benefit from all of the advantages of being in a bilingual environment. We are a creative and innovative setting, with loose parts and open-ended resources instead of traditional plastic toys.
We are looking for a third in charge to join our fantastic team.
Responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following:

Support manager and assistant manager in the running of the setting and step up in their absence Ensure that all children attending the setting are kept safe and that all legislation in relation to Health and Safety and Safeguarding is complied with. Support staff development and training, both formally and informally through being a good role model and modelling best practise Support the delivery of our curriculum, ensuring all children are receiving the best opportunities for learning and development Promote our values and challenge any behaviour that goes against them Build excellent relationships with our families to work in partnership with parents/carers
