We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our team. All candidates must have a

Minimum EARLY YEARS LEVEL 3 DIPLOMA or greater .

This person will be responsible for

managing and leading the 0-3 year old team

The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, along with a genuine love for working with children. This role involves overseeing the nursery room, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for children while fostering their development through engaging activities. The Nursery Room Leader will also collaborate with parents and staff to create a positive experience for all involved.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the nursery room team

0-3 years

providing guidance and support to staff members. Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programmes that promote early childhood development. Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in the nursery, adhering to health and safety regulations. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, behaviour, and any concerns. Maintain accurate records of children's activities, attendance, and developmental milestones. Foster a positive learning environment that encourages exploration, creativity, and social interaction among children. Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional development.

Requirements

Proven experience in a childcare setting, preferably within a nursery environment. Strong management and leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate others. Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices. Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Experience working with children of various ages, demonstrating patience and understanding. A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential. A commitment to creating an inclusive environment that respects diversity among children and families.
