are looking for a dedicated and experienced

Site Manager to oversee the daily operations of our over 2's site. The site accommodates the toddlers and Pre-school rooms of the nursery.

At Banana Moon we keep the children, families, and staff at the heart of everything we do. we follow a Curriculum bespoke to Banana Moon that includes a lot less paperwork so we can dedicate more time to be with children.

The successful candidate will work under the Nursery Operation Manager and will be responsible for managing staff, ensuring high standards of childcare, and maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for children.

Duties

Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations including Banana Moon policies and procedures Maintain effective communication and ensure a positive relationship with parents and other stakeholders Lead, mentor, and develop the nursery staff, ensuring a high standard of practice across the team. Ensure the continuous improvement of the nursery standards and quality of practice Manage administrative tasks such as record keeping, attendance logs, and reporting requirements Foster a warm, inclusive atmosphere that encourages learning through play

Requirements

Passion for working with children and commitment to their safety and development Hold a minimum of Level 3 qualification in Early Years Minimum of 5 years experience in a nursery setting and a minimum 2 years experience in a leadership role Excellent communication and leadership skills Ability to motivate and lead a team effectively whilst maintaining high standards of care Organised with the ability to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently A 'hands on' and 'can do' attitude.
