We are looking for Bank Staff members to work at our well-established fun and friendly Wee Gems Corstorphine.

The ideal candidate should be passionate about early education and childcare and eager to explore the sector.

Successful applicant will be required to work with children aged 0-5 in our nursery, ensuring safety and wellbeing of children within the setting. A successful applicant will also be confident in supporting children during mealtimes, supporting their learning and will be able to encourage older children to explore their independence.

Be a reliable member of the team, working co-operatively and with flexibility Understand that each child is an individual and have a general understanding of childcare and child development Be familiar with all emergency and security procedures e.g. Fire procedures. Adhere to all company policies and procedures Supervise children at all times whilst providing social experiences. High levels of infection control ensuring the nursery is kept clean and tidy. Ensure children are washing their hands effectively and have good personal hygiene. Knowing all children's allergies and dietary requirements. Assisting the team when required with other tasks delegated by management or team leader. Ensure they have basic first aid knowledge and can be trained when necessary If willing to participate, please attend trainings and staff meetings To complete food hygiene certificate and other mandatory health and safety trainings.
