Due to growth in our nursery, we are now looking for A pre school teacher to join us at our nursery. We offer the highest standard of nursery care and education in our unique homely cottage environment.
The nursery offers a comfortable, homely environment for our children to explore and learn in and we are a dedicated loyal team helping care for the children in our setting. We are looking for individuals who are passionate, hands on, fun loving and creative to join our team.
Responsibilities will include:
Ensure that all the children attending the setting are kept safe and receive rich and stimulating play experiences, appropriate to their age and stage of development
Observe, support, and extend children's learning
Plan appropriately for children using the EYFS framework
Maintain accurate and effective children's records
Work in partnership with parents/carers and other family members
Demonstrate good practice with regard to special needs and inclusion
Ensuring that all legislation in relation to special needs, safeguarding and health and safety is complied with
```Duties:```
- Create and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and educational objectives
- Deliver engaging and interactive instruction to students
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
- Maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and improve teaching strategies
- Communicate with parents or guardians regarding student performance and behavior
- Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: From 15 but can be discussed and raised on performance levels and qualifications
Expected hours: 30- 40 per week
