Early Years Level 3 Practitioner

As a Duty Manager/Third in Charge

, you will help lead the staff to deliver and ensure all children receive quality care, help extend the child's learning. Create, plan, and implement activities and experience which help support all aspects of the EYFS. You will be responsible for opening and closing the nursery and will be required to cover for the Manager and Deputy Manager in their absence. The successful candidate will hold a qualification at level 3 or higher and possess a thorough understanding of the EYFS curriculum, coupled with a true passion for working with children. They will also proactively promote and support the safeguarding of children within the setting, ensuring that nursery policies and procedures are consistently followed. Comprehensive training will be provided in this area.

Salary:

30,908.8 per annum (14.86 per hour)

Hours:

40 hrs/week, Monday-Friday, all year round

Opening Times:

07:00-18:00, Mon-Fri (Greenfields Nursery Shipston)

Location & Setting:

Located on the grounds of Shipston?on?Stour Rugby Football Club, surrounded by scenic open countryside (Greenfields Nursery Shipston). Ample on-site parking, secure buggy store, and CCTV for added peace of mind (Greenfields Nursery Shipston). Caring for children aged 9 months to 5 years with a strong focus on individual learning and family partnership (Greenfields Nursery Shipston).

Outdoor Learning & Facilities:

Three secure play areas, plus an outdoor learning garden complete with a tree house and mud kitchen (Greenfields Nursery Shipston). A vibrant curriculum based on Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) principles, with a heavy emphasis on outdoor, play-based learning and exploration (Greenfields Nursery Shipston). Nutritious, seasonal meals and snacks created by our on-site chef and dietician (Greenfields Nursery Shipston). Additional enrichment such as bilingual music sessions, sports, and local outings (Greenfields Nursery Shipston).

Essential Requirements:

Level 3 Childcare Qualification Fluent spoken and written English Minimum one year's experience in Early Years setting (desirable) Understanding of EYFS and safeguarding best practice
