This job is a trainee apprenticeship you will be required to undertake a svq level 3 and the hourly rate of pay is 7:55 until qualified .

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Nursery Trainee to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about early childhood education and looking to gain hands-on experience in a nurturing environment. The Nursery Trainee will assist in providing high-quality care and education to children, supporting their development through engaging activities and interactions.

Duties

Assist in the daily care of children, ensuring their safety and well-being. Support the planning and implementation of age-appropriate activities that promote learning and development. Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to foster a positive nursery environment. Help manage classroom behaviour by applying effective strategies to encourage positive interactions. Participate in maintaining a clean, organised, and stimulating nursery space. Observe and document children's progress, sharing insights with senior staff as necessary. Collaborate with team members to create a supportive atmosphere for both children and families.

Requirements

A genuine interest in early childhood education and childcare. Previous experience working with children is advantageous but not essential. Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Ability to drive is preferred for transportation purposes related to nursery activities. Leadership qualities that demonstrate the ability to manage small groups of children effectively. Willingness to learn and adapt within a dynamic team environment. A commitment to creating a safe, inclusive, and engaging atmosphere for all children.
