Overview:

We are a family run nursery based in Cornwall, specialising in the growing and supply of wholesale trees and hedging. We also run planting teams throughout the winter planting season.

Duties:

You'll be an integral part of our nursery team and will be responsible for delivering horticultural and agricultural activities across The Grower portfolio to a high quality and on time.

- Aiding crop scheduling for timing of appropriate harvesting

Processing of plant material including the lifting, grading and sorting of plants Handling of plants, sundries incoming and outgoing stock Planting of woodland and forestry to specification of sites across Cornwall and the Southwest Maintenance tasks as part of The Growers Ltd. Maintenance work to which may include strimming, grass cutting, mulching, and other landscape maintenance work.
Skills

We are looking for someone who is friendly, self-motivated, hardworking, and reliable to join our team.

You should enjoy working outdoors in all types of weather, have a willingness to do physical manual work as well as a good knowledge (or willingness to learn) and practical skills in using various farm machines and equipment.

Job Types: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: 12.50-12.60 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 37.5 per week
