Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Nursery Room Leader to join our clients team. This role is pivotal in creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children in our care. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership skills, along with a solid background in early childhood education and childcare. As the Nursery Room Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring the safety and well-being of children, and fostering positive relationships with both staff and parents.

Duties

Lead and manage the nursery team to provide high-quality care and education for children. Develop and implement engaging educational programmes that promote children's learning and development. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards of practice. Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for children, staff, and families. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns that may arise. Supervise daily activities, ensuring that children are engaged in age-appropriate play and learning experiences. Conduct regular assessments of children's development and maintain accurate records. Provide support to staff members through mentoring and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

Proven experience in management or leadership roles within a childcare setting. Strong background in early childhood education with relevant qualifications. Experience working with children in a nursery or similar environment is essential. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English. Ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues. A valid driving licence is preferred but not mandatory. Knowledge of child development principles and best practices in childcare.
