Duties
Plan and implement engaging educational activities tailored to children's developmental stages
Provide high-quality childcare, ensuring the safety, health, and emotional well-being of all children in your care
Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and organised activities
Maintain accurate records of children's progress and daily routines
Collaborate with colleagues to create a cohesive learning environment
Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children's development and daily experiences
Lead by example in maintaining organisational standards and promoting positive behaviour
Support the management team in organising nursery operations and staff rotas
Assist with transportation duties if required, ensuring safe driving practices
Experience
Proven experience working with children within a nursery or early childhood setting
Demonstrated management and leadership capabilities within childcare environments
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and best practices
Experience in child supervision, behaviour management, and programme planning
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Valid driving licence is advantageous for supporting nursery logistics
