An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic individual to join the Community Nursing Team as a Nursing Assistant within the area of Ashington. The district nursing team work in close Partnership with GPs practices also delivering a service to our housebound and care home patients.

The Nursing Assistant within a community setting works as a member of a wider community nursing team to delivery clinical care to patients including the performance of diagnostic tests and the delivery of personal and delegated nursing care to individuals with chronic health problems. Although the post holder receives support and supervision from registered nurses she / her is expected to work unsupervised in the patient's own home, the surgery and in residential home environments.
The Nursing Assistant will have delegated responsibility to order and rotate stock to support the team.
