Job Description

Ward 4 is a busy care of the elderly/orthogeriatric ward. The main duties of the Nursing Assistant on the ward will involve caring for patients ensuring standards of care are met. This includes assisting patients with all activities of daily living , washing and dressing, promoting independence, assisting with meals ensuring adequate oral intake and general ward duties.

The Nursing Assistant role will assist the qualified nurse to give a high standard of care of the patients on the ward.



Ensuring high standards of care are delivered and met on each shift.



Working closely with the Multi Disciplinary Team and clear and concise documentation.

Records patient observations and changes to patient clinical conditions
