Nursing Assistant - The Mountains Care Home

Libanus, Brecon, Powys, LD3 8EN

Pay:

13.85 per hour

Contract:

Permanent, Full-Time

Hours:

36 per week | 12-hour shifts - mixture of days and nights (08:00-20:00 or 20:00-08:00)

Rota:

Rolling | Every other weekend | Published two months in advance

We're seeking an experienced and compassionate Nursing Assistant to join our team at The Mountains Care Home, a specialist dementia and mental health service for older adults in the peaceful Brecon Beacons.

Your Role

Support residents with personal care, mobility, and daily needs Assist nurses with wound care, catheter care, pressure relief, and vital signs Help administer medication (where trained) Monitor and record residents' health and wellbeing Promote dignity, independence, and comfort Maintain a clean, calm, and supportive environment

What You'll Bring

? Minimum

NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care (full qualification, not distance learning)

? Level 3 qualification - desirable
? Experience in dementia or nursing care (essential)
? Calm, compassionate, and proactive attitude
? Excellent teamwork and communication skills
