Brocklehurst Nursing Home

is seeking a dedicated and caring

Nursing Assistant

to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to Registered Nurses and assist in delivering safe, person-centred care to our residents. You will help maintain residents' dignity, ensure accurate documentation, and contribute to a positive and caring environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Support Registered Nurses with medication administration and care planning. Assist in the safe and efficient delivery of care to residents under supervision. Ensure all documentation and handovers are accurate and completed on time. Promote and maintain residents' dignity, privacy, and comfort. Understand and support the home's aims, values, policies, and procedures. Support the smooth running of the care floor and delegation where appropriate.

Requirements:

Previous experience in medication management, administration, and care planning. NVQ Level 2/3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is advantageous. Experience supervising or running a care floor is desirable. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and follow instructions. Compassionate, reliable, and patient-focused. Flexible approach to working hours, including shifts and weekends.
