We have an exciting opportunity for a Nursing Associate to join our Early Days in Custody Team team at
at HMP Thameside, a category B Prison located in Greenwich, South-East London. In this role you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.
Hours Monday to Friday: 8:00 - 16:00 or 09:00 - 17:00
Salary
This position is full time, youll receive an annual salary up to 36,151 per annum - depending on experience.

Main duties of the job
The Early Days in Custody Team is responsible for management of care of all patients within their first 10 days.
As a Nursing Associate, in your responsibilities will vary. You will

  • Support the nursing and pharmacy teams of patients on arrival
  • Contribute to and implement care packages, assist with health promotion, well-being and clinics
  • Forge strong links within our teams, our partners and stakeholders

Requirements
  • NMC Registered Nursing Associate
  • NVQ 2/3 or equivalent in Health and Social Care
  • A non-judgmental and compassionate approach
  • Excellent communication skills
Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
