Why this job matters
At BT Group, we care deeply about the health, safety, and wellbeing of our people, and we understand how much focus and attention is needed to ensure everyone can thrive and be their best at work.
The Core Occupational Health team supports the mental and physical health and wellbeing of our colleagues in line with our BT Group Code: "We always put wellbeing and safety first." We recognise that work has proven benefits for health - and health has proven benefits for work - so we provide a wide range of information, resources, and guidance to help our people live as healthily as possible.
The BT Group Occupational Health Nurse Advisor plays a pivotal role in ensuring the health and wellbeing of our colleagues across the organisation. Working in partnership with the Senior Occupational Health Physician and our Occupational Health Provider's clinical team, you'll help ensure the highest standards of occupational health advice are delivered to the business at all times.
Building strong stakeholder relationships will be key to your success in this role. As a subject matter expert in health, you'll promote quality, evidence-based practice and leverage data and insights to design and implement health and wellbeing programmes, products, and procedures that support both the mental and physical wellbeing of our people.
You'll work closely with colleagues across People & Culture Services, our Wellbeing Leads, and the Inclusion, Safety, and Legal teams. Together, your contributions will help promote positive change, remove barriers, and enhance the overall colleague experience.
