Role Summary




The Occupational Health Advisor role at MCL presents an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly organised professional to join our growing team. In this role, you will support our clients in fulfilling their statutory obligations to safeguard and promote health, safety and welfare of employees in the workplace. We are seeking a reliable, motivated individual with exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills, a commitment to continuous professional development, and the ability to analyse and interpret data effectively. The ideal candidate will be a proactive self-starter who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, demonstrates strong problem-solving abilities, and is dedicated to contributing to the success of the organisation.


This role offers a dynamic hybrid working model, giving you the opportunity to thrive across multiple settings. You'll split your time between working directly with clients on-site, collaborating with colleagues in our clinic, and enjoying the flexibility of working from home. As part of the MCL Medics team, your key responsibilities include.



Workplace assessments Reporting on health risks Routine health surveillance Pre-placement screenings Fitness-for-work assessments Undertaking case management, both in person and remotely, producing quality reports for the clients Managing health records to ensure the secure storage, confidentiality, and integrity of Occupational Health (OH) records at all times, in full compliance with relevant legislation and best practices Work to strict protocols and procedures set by MCL Medics, in line with SEQOHS accreditation

What Are We Looking For?



RGN/RMN - with a current NMC Registration Prior Occupational Health experience (minimum 2 years) Desirable: Occupational Health qualification; relevant experience considered Proactive, friendly, and professional individuals with workload management confidence An ability to contribute towards safe working practices across the OH Delivery team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to contribute ideas and suggestions for improvements to achieve more effective working practices Good understanding of Microsoft packages, and comfortable in use of OH software
