Occupational Health Technician - starting 25K per annum, DOE

36.25 hours per week

Alert Health is looking to recruit an enthusiastic and self-motivated

Occupational Health Technician

. You'll be based at our clinic on Inverness Campus, and become a key member of our growing team of techs, nurses, doctors ad administrators. Full supervision and training will be provided by our Lead Technician.

This is a dynamic role based at our clinic or at client sites across Highlands, Islands and Moray, so will involve driving. You'll be supporting employers to support the health, safety and wellbeing of their working populations.

If you already have experience as OH Tech, that's great. If not, we can train the right person.

What You'll Be Doing:

Carry out routine health screening: blood pressure, BMI, urinalysis, vision checks, ECGs Perform audiometry and lung function tests (full training provided as required) Taking blood samples Drug and alcohol testing Deliver lifestyle health assessments and health promotion activities Regularly travel to client sites for on-site health checks (travel flexibility required) Keep accurate medical records Ensure equipment and working environment is clean and functional Maintain stock levels and ensure clinical rooms meet company standard

What We're Looking For:

? Experience in healthcare, fitness, health promotion, or a similar role would be ideal
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
? A proactive, flexible and positive attitude
? Strong organisational skills and the ability to work independently
? Comfortable using IT systems and maintaining accurate records
? Understanding of confidentiality and ethical practice

Desirable:

Previous occupational health experience (but not essential - training provided)
