Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Health Technician to join our team at Symbios Health. The vacancy is predominantly to cover the Plymouth area however there will be occasional requirements to travel further afield with prior notice and rare overnight stays. You will ensure the delivery of class-leading service, conducting health surveillance, fitness for work health screening and health promotion to clients. The work is delivered t in a suitable room on client sites.

This job would be perfect for those with a background within the care sector- paramedics, HCA's or nurses. We provide a comprehensive in-house training programme, so although prior experience is helpful, it is by no means essential.

What you'll be doing

Health Surveillance

Audiometry and Spirometry

Skin assessments and Hand Arm Vibration (Tier 1 & 2)

Fitness for work medicals (i.e. driver, working at height medicals or vision screening)

Who we're looking for

Previous health care experience.

Hold a full UK driving licence

Competent IT user

Ability to work autonomously and

Great communication and customer service skills
