Occupational Health Technician with travel.

An excellent opportunity to join a fast-growing, forward-thinking Occupational Health company based in Wales.

The Occupational Health Technician will be based at our North Wales clinics and on our client's sites. The right person will need to be a confident and competent driver.

The Technician, working under the supervision of the senior technicians, nursing and physician team, will be required to undertake a variety of key tasks with supervision, as outlined below:

Conducting health surveillance, often in our mobile units, including but not limited to the following: Audiometry, Spirometry, Blood Pressure, HAVS and Vision Screening.

Undertaking a range of safety-critical assessments

Conducting chain of custody Drug and Alcohol testing

Assessing the workplace for potential occupational health problems and presenting those findings to the operations manager/ client

Maintaining health records using our occupational health systems

Keeping up to date with professional changes associated with occupational health practice

Other duties from time to time, as required.

Person Specification:

The ability to work in a professional manner always and work to the highest standards.

A good work ethic, a good team player, and a willingness to learn.

Hold a qualification in occupational health, Sports science or anatomy and physiology desirable but not essential as full training will be given.

A confident and competent driver with a full clean UK driving license.

Have a flexible attitude towards working hours and locations as these may change to meet our clients. requirements.

Be computer literate and able to keep accurate records and reporting systems.
