About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our dynamic rehabilitation team in Essex (CO7). This is an exciting opportunity for a HCPC-registered OT to deliver high-quality therapeutic interventions, lead junior staff, and drive innovation in patient care within a supportive multidisciplinary environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess, plan, and deliver evidence-based OT interventions (individual/group) to enhance patient independence.

- Maintain accurate clinical records, tracking rehabilitation progress and outcomes.

- Lead and mentor junior OT staff, fostering professional development.

- Collaborate with MDT (physios, nurses, psychologists) to design holistic care plans.

- Ensure compliance with HCPC standards, CQC regulations, and Priory policies.

- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and funding bodies.

- Pioneer new services and share best practices across sites.

Essential Requirements:

? HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist

? Degree in Occupational Therapy

? Proven experience in physical rehabilitation or mental health settings

? Strong clinical assessment and care planning skills

? Leadership ability to supervise junior staff

? Knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g., Mental Capacity Act)

Desirable Skills:

- Experience with specialist equipment (e.g., adaptive tech, splinting)

- Training in cognitive rehabilitation or sensory integration

- Familiarity with electronic patient records (EPR)
