You'll play a key role in delivering person-centred, recovery-focused interventions and help service users regain independence and meaning through occupation.
As a Band 6 Occupational Therapist, you'll manage a varied caseload, lead therapeutic group and 1:1 interventions, and provide supervision to Band 4 staff, volunteers, and students. You'll be supported to develop your leadership skills while working in a fast-paced and rewarding environment. This role also offers opportunities to shape service development and contribute to ongoing quality improvement and research activities.

What you can add:
You will manage a caseload of clients with complex needs, applying evidence-based and person-centred occupational therapy principles.
You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate group and 1-1 interventions, in collaboration with other members of the MDT and OT team.
You will provide leadership, development opportunities and support for defined staff, students and volunteers via regular supervision and appraisal systems.
You will build strong links with services and agencies in the community to support timely discharge and reintegration into meaningful roles and routines.
You will champion vocational and employment-focused interventions to promote recovery and social inclusion.
What you'll need:
Must be a Qualified Occupational Therapist that has completed Seni Lewis Training Levels 1+2
HCPC-registered with post-registration experience, specifically in mental health settings.
Skilled in delivering individual and group interventions and working effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Experience in supervision, appraisal, and supporting junior staff or students.
Strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatment models, and risk assessment/management principles.
Ability to manage a complex caseload, set priorities independently, and reflect on professional practice
Desirable:
Experience of working with people with challenging behaviours
Post-registration qualification in related area (mental health, clinical skills, coaching/ supervision)
