Job Description

Are you passionate about delivering high?quality, evidence?based occupational therapy to people experiencing acute mental ill health? Fettle Ward is looking for a motivated, compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic multi?disciplinary team.



You will apply the full occupational therapy process, using client?centred principles and evidence?based practice to support recovery and promote independence.



We are looking for someone who is:



Enthusiastic about working in acute mental health settings.



Skilled in applying occupational therapy theory and assessments in complex clinical situations.



Able to work collaboratively within a multi?disciplinary team.



Compassionate, flexible, and committed to supporting individuals during periods of crisis.



Provide comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and deliver individual and group interventions tailored to service users' needs.

Use client?centred, recovery?focused approaches to support individuals experiencing acute mental health difficulties.

Contribute to holistic assessment, care planning, intervention delivery, and evaluation as part of a supportive multi?disciplinary team.

Participate in the ongoing development of the acute mental health service, including involvement in defined quality improvement or service development projects.

Maintain high professional standards and ensure interventions are rooted in best practice and meaningful occupation.
