Are you a passionate and HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist looking to make a real impact in the lives of children and young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? We are recruiting for a number of fantastic SEN schools across London who are seeking dedicated Occupational Therapists to join their multidisciplinary teams.

About the Role

As an Occupational Therapist in an SEN school setting, you will play a vital role in supporting students with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD, sensory processing difficulties, physical disabilities, and complex learning needs. Working closely with teaching staff, SENCOs, and other therapists, you will assess students' functional abilities and implement tailored interventions that help them to access the curriculum, develop independence, and thrive in their school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and develop individualised therapy plans for pupils. Deliver 1:1 and small group sessions to support motor, sensory, and functional development. Collaborate with school staff and families to provide strategies and advice. Contribute to Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) and participate in annual reviews. Support staff with training and resources to embed therapeutic strategies into daily routines.

Requirements:

HCPC registration

(essential) Degree in Occupational Therapy (BSc or equivalent) Experience working with children or within an SEN setting (desirable but not essential) Excellent communication and collaborative working skills Commitment to inclusive education and supporting diverse learning needs

Pay: 42,482.00-50,000.00 per year
