We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our healthcare team. Responsibilities
Assess patients' needs and develop tailored treatment plans based on individual goals and capabilities.
Implement therapeutic interventions aimed at improving patients' physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Educate patients and their families about treatment processes, expected outcomes, and self-care strategies.
Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal results.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including speech therapists, physiotherapists, and case managers, to ensure holistic patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with hospital policies.
Stay updated on advancements in occupational therapy practices and participate in ongoing professional development.
Experience
A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution is essential.
Previous experience in a hospital or critical care setting is highly desirable.
Familiarity with medical imaging techniques and physiotherapy knowledge will be advantageous.
Experience working with diverse populations, including paediatrics and patients requiring speech therapy interventions.
Strong skills in case management and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams are crucial for success in this role.
