As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a key role in delivering targeted support to students, helping them reach their full potential. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with autism and additional needs within a welcoming and professional setting.

Key Responsibilities:



Provide individual and group occupational therapy sessions tailored to the needs of students. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop and implement individual support plans. Monitor and assess student progress, adjusting interventions as needed. Maintain accurate records and reports on student development and therapy outcomes. Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of school policies and practices. Support students in developing life skills, sensory processing, and motor coordination. Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all students during therapy sessions. Stay up to date with best practices and developments in occupational therapy for children with autism and additional needs.

Qualifications & Skills:



Required



Qualified and registered occupational therapist. Experience working with children with autism and additional needs. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team. Commitment to child safeguarding and welfare.

Preferred



Experience working in a school or educational setting. Knowledge of specialist educational frameworks for children with autism. Experience with sensory integration and play-based therapy techniques.
