150 joint replacements per month
, primarily hips and knees, we are broadening our therapy services to include a dedicated
Occupational Therapist
. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing and forward-thinking
Therapy team
making a meaningful difference in patient outcomes.
What You'll Do:
Provide expert assessment and treatment for patients with complex needs in both inpatient and pre-assessment settings.
Contribute to our expanding orthopaedic pathway, supporting patients through their recovery and maximising independence.
Collaborate within an evolving multidisciplinary team committed to evidence-based care and clinical excellence.
Supervise and mentor therapy assistants and students, while actively contributing to professional development across the team.
Play a key role in patient experience initiatives, service improvements, and clinical audits.
What We're Looking For:
HCPC registration with a degree in Occupational Therapy.
Minimum of 2 years' experience managing complex caseloads, ideally including orthopaedics.
Excellent communication, leadership, and critical thinking skills.
A proactive approach to continuous improvement and a commitment to patient-centred care.
