We are seeking a proactive, compassionate, caring and recovery focused HCPC registered Occupational Therapist with excellent communication skills to join our existing multidisciplinary teams to be involved in holistic assessments and interventions to support the planning and delivery of patient care.



Please note applicants will be required to pay for their DBS check. Costs are deducted from salary following appointment. The cost of the DBS application is 26.40 (standard) or 54.40 (enhanced), this cost will be deducted from your salary over the first 2 months of employment.



You are encouraged to enrol for the DBS Update Service. An annual fee of 16 per year applies.

To effectively plan and implement high quality Occupational Therapy input with Service Users on the adult mental health rehabilitation wards at Bracken House, Mansfield.



You will work as part of the multi-disciplinary team and will provide a variety of individual and group occupational therapy interventions to a diverse range of service users, both on the wards, in the therapy area and when appropriate in patients homes.



You will liaise with a range of agencies and services across Nottinghamshire.



You will manage a variable clinical caseload, working with people with a diverse range of needs towards an effective discharge from hospital.



Professional and clinical supervision will be provided by an identified Occupational Therapist and you will link into the wider network in Nottinghamshire working co-operatively with colleagues to ensure high quality service provision and gain opportunities for support and Continued Professional Development.
